Following long and comprehensive data research, a groundbreaking study published by researchers at MAYO Clinic have discovered that losing an arm and a leg actually does cost someone an arm and a leg. The study co-author Oliver Johnstone stated, “Our data showed the hefty price one pays when losing two limbs, and it ain’t cheap.”

The scientists were flabbergasted from their findings. Johnstone explained, “I had no idea it would cost that much – I mean I figured losing an arm and leg would be costly but was shocked to see it’s an arm and a leg expensive!”

At press time, Johnstone thanked the participants who were willing to sacrifice half their limbs, otherwise the team would have never been able to find out the exact price: an arm and a leg. Johnstone later on mentioned, “I am realizing my team and I need to do a follow up study, for losing an arm and leg costs not only an arm and a leg but also the cost to replace them with a prosthetic arm and a prosthetic leg, which due to inflation nowadays costs even more an arm and a leg.”
